We’re giving away $2,000 to local teachers!

free money for teachers

Nominate your favorite teacher

Four local teachers will receive $500 each to buy supplies for their classroom for the upcoming school year!

None of us would be where we are today without the education we received. Teachers make the world go round!

According to the U.S. Department of Education, 94% of teachers reach into their own pockets to purchase supplies for their students. Of that 94%, NEA.org reports that the average amount spent is around $500+ each year.

Blue Ridge Orthodontics supports the educators of our community and we’re giving back to help teachers prepare for the school year – without needing to pull out their own credit cards. We’ll pick four pre-k through high school educators from Buncombe, Henderson, and Transylvania counties. Each teacher selected will receive a $500 Amazon gift card. We’ll announce the winning teachers on August 1st.

In addition, we’ll draw a name from everyone who votes and one participant will receive a $50 Amazon gift card to say thanks for helping us support local educators.

We’re proud to support the WNC community

Invest in yourself this year and start your 2024 off with a self-care spa trip. Shoji Spa & Retreat is Asheville’s premier Japanese-inspired spa and retreat. They offer everything from a stunning tree-top sauna to relaxing world-class massage packages. This is the perfect gift to start off your new year. This gift is worth an estimated $400.

We are also proud to sponsor our patients and patients’ causes. If you have an organization or cause that is looking for support, we welcome you to fill out a sponsorship request form on our website.

In addition to financial contributions, the entire BRO team gets involved by volunteering our time, energy and expertise to worthwhile causes. Blue Ridge Orthodontics is also committed to making positive “green” changes in our office and supporting environmental initiatives across our community.

We welcome suggestions from our patients, their families and the community at large about where to expand BRO’s charitable support.

We’ll be tallying up entries according to the following breakdown:

  • 1 entry point for a Facebook check-in at any BRO location or event
  • 2 entry points for completing your post-visit survey
  • 3 entry points for a Google review for your office location: Asheville, Brevard, or Hendersonville
  • 5 entry points for referring a friend or family member

Entries are unlimited. You know you want to win!

Our June contest winner

Sam is our June contest winner. He and his family won a Blackstone grill and are looking forward to many tasty, summer meals to come.

Our recent non-profit winner: Mobility Matters

For 2024 BRO is giving back extra to the community.

We set aside $2,500 for a beloved, local non-profit – and you were able to tell us which one. Once all the votes were cast, the Mobility Matters Foundation was selected as the recipient.

It truly warmed our hearts to meet the amazing forces behind Mobility Matters Foundation and learn more about their mission! This donation will go towards continuing their goals of enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities! They’ll provide skilled OT evaluations, educational resources, and advocacy to enable underserved members within the community so that they can receive durable medical equipment.

A big thank you to everyone who participated in the voting process, we cannot wait to keep the giving going in this amazing community!

BRO’s Team Vision Summit

Blue Ridge Orthodontics Treatment Coordinators

We recently hosted our annual Vision Summit, and it was truly a night to remember with our BRO team!

The Vision Summit is a chance for our team to check in with each other about our goals as an office and celebrate our achievements. We are thrilled about all the exciting things we have in the works and the future growth of Blue Ridge Orthodontics!

This year’s Vision Summit was Clue themed, and the team did not disappoint with their costumes.
